Tuition & Tuition Waivers

Students hired under either a grant-funded or department-funded assistantship will benefit from tuition waivers. More details on Oklahoma State handles tuition waivers:

Important notes

  • These tuitions waivers ONLY cover the cost of tuition. You, the student, are still responsible for paying fees, parking/bike passes, textbooks, etc

  • You are not allowed to get another job with OSU. However, you generally are still permitted to work for a non-OSU entity. If you feel you need additional employment, have an honest conversation with your advisor to figure out what will work best for your situation.

  • Department-funded students are REQUIRED to TA to fulfill their tuition waiver. Some grant-funded students are also required to TA. Please be sure to discuss your specific offer letter with your advisor regarding your expected TA duties.
