Lake McMurtry is located ~ 20 minutes north of Stillwater off Lake McMurtry Road. You can camp, hike, rent kayaks, disc golf, or fish. You can purchase daily permits ($6) or annual membership ($85). This lake is less trafficked.
Carl Blackwell Lake is located ~15 minutes west of Stillwater off Highway 51. You can camp, hike, fish, or boat. This lake is owned and operated by OK State. You can purchase daily permits ($5) and annual discounted permits ($25) and reserve cabins on their website. This lake can be quite busy on a nice day.
Keystone Lake is located ~1 hour east of Stillwater. You can camp, boat, hunt or fish (with proper licenses). Check out information about activities and reservations here.
